Henderson's only community service club for young professionals ages 18 to 35.
WHAT IS ROTARACT?
Rotaract is a Rotary sponsored service club for young professionals ages 18 to 35. The Henderson Rotaract club is community-based and is sponsored by the local Rotary club making it true "partners in service" and key members of the Rotary family.
Through the Rotaract program, young professionals not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. Rotaract activities include two meetings a month, social events, community service projects and leadership development efforts.
Join us on the second Wednesday of each month. Lunch is free the first time so come and check it out! 6th Floor of Methodist Hospital's North Tower.
Please contact the membership chair or one of the officers for more information.
We are doing something a little different this year for our major fundraiser. Rather than the usual "Ridin' for a Reason" bike ride, we have chosen instead to go with "Runnin' for a Reason" 5k. This way we can include more people in our effort to give back to the community.
This years recipient of the proceeds from the rase is Matthew 25, who support, educate, and treat those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
